Hi, I’m Julie.
I’m so glad you’re here. I work with adolescents, young adults, and their families, and I’m dedicated to helping my clients navigate life’s challenges, heal from trauma, build resilience, and walk alongside you on your journey of self-discovery.
My Approach
Who do I work with?
I work with families and individuals ages 6-21 who have depression and anxiety characterized by a history of suicidal ideations, non-suicidal self-injury, low self-esteem, low motivation, behavioral issues and often school avoidance. In sessions we will create an in depth safety plan, have psychoeducation on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and creating behavior contracts with parents.
Collaborative
I use a mixture of multiple modalities and interventions throughout therapy. I may ask you or your child to try something that may seem weird or unnecessary, but I promise there's always a therapeutic reason behind it that I will share. This is a team effort, so I would ask that you keep an open mind but never be afraid to provide me with feedback on what's working and what's not.

What Clients are Saying
“We are incredibly grateful for the care and support our therapist has provided for our child. From the very beginning, she created a safe, welcoming space where she felt seen and heard. The patience, empathy, and thoughtful guidance have made a meaningful difference in her emotional growth and confidence. We've noticed such positive changes!
The therapist’s ability to truly listen, validate her experiences, and offer practical tools has been invaluable. As parents, we also appreciate the open communication and collaboration throughout the process. We feel supported and reassured knowing that our child is in such compassionate and capable hands.”
- Parent
“Julianna Thompson has been a beyond supportive therapist. I know that’s what you’d expect from a therapist, however, she has supported me through my family changes, romantic changes, my personal changes, and even my educational changes. ”
